It was a confusing day. What else is new?

I thought services started at 8:00 a.m. Wrong. 9:00 a.m.

I thought Aliyah was faking her tummy ache. Wrong. She puked all over herself in the hallway at shul.

I thought we couldn't leave shul until after Chandler read Torah. Wrong. Chandler reads Torah next week, not today.

So I was a little confused.

Aliyah, on the other hand, was NOT confused. She didn't feel well and she expressed it. She threw up at shul, on the way home, in her room, on her lap while on the toilet, at the couch. She also has a low grade fever.

She did complain last night about a tummy ache but she sometimes does that if she has eaten a lot. And she did eat a lot. Rob made a broccoli and pea lasagna. Delicious salad with pears. Homemade, whole wheat challah. Who wouldn't get a stomach ache? We all ate too much!

Chandler has been wonderful these past two days. He was coming off a hard time -- being unable to control his words and actions, and making some poor decisions. Since yesterday, though, he has been a thoughtful and funny kid. He sounds great reading his section for Torah. I can't wait to hear him read next week.

Rob is out tonight celebrating our friend, Neil's, birthday. I, on the other hand, am off to bed...

The not-feeling-so-well one.

What a day! Poor Ms. Aliyah! I'm glad to hear she's better and that Chan had a couple good days! The pictures are good, however, Ms. Kimber, you look a little tired? Ya think?! Well you survived that challenging day! Good for you.
