It has been 48 hours since “the news.” We are adjusting to the new framework of not being baby-centered. I still have a major decision ahead of me—do I miscarry naturally or do I have a D&C.
Alia is back to normal. To be 7 and able to cry it out and move on so quickly. I envy her. Ever-oblivious Neviyah is running the house, finding things she shouldn’t, leaving destruction in her path.
I am amazed, overwhelmed and humbled by the kind words everyone has been leaving on FB and the blog. I am not at the point where I can speak about it, but since I have been blogging for well over 10 years, writing about it is therapeutic.
In typical our-style, we have chosen to deal with this in the best way we know how…double frosting cupcakes.
